One vendor for facilities and property management in NYC

Bee Locksmith is the door, lock and security vendor for property managers, building managers and facilities teams in New York City, Westchester and Long Island. One mobile, licensed and insured company covers every opening and security system in the building: doors, frames, closers, automatic and ADA doors, locks and master keys, access control, intercoms, cameras, networking, gates, fire doors, exit alarms, trash chute doors, toilet partitions, safes and European hardware. 24/7, on your work orders, with one invoice.

Every opening and security system, one vendor

Facilities teams usually juggle a locksmith, a door company, an intercom vendor and a camera installer for the same entrance. We do all of it with our own people, so one work order closes the job.

How a service call runs

  • You send the work order by email, phone or your work-order platform, with the NTE and any access notes
  • We confirm, dispatch a mobile technician (24/7 for emergencies) and check in on site if your building requires it
  • If the repair fits the NTE, we complete it; if it doesn't, you get a written estimate for approval first
  • You get completion notes, photos where useful, and an invoice that carries your WO number and the building address

Preventive maintenance programs

Most emergency door calls start as a closer leaking oil, a strike out of alignment or a fire door that stopped latching months earlier. A preventive maintenance program catches those on a schedule you set, building by building.

  • Door, closer and hardware surveys: every entrance, stair and corridor door checked for closing, latching, alignment, hinges, closers and locks, with a written list of findings and prices
  • Fire door inspections: annual inspection of fire-rated openings and repairs of deficiencies, including stair doors, chute intake doors and compactor-room doors
  • Access control health checks: readers, locks, door position switches, power supplies and batteries tested, and user lists and schedules reviewed with the office
  • Intercom and camera checks: stations, releases, recorders, retention and remote viewing confirmed working
  • Automatic and ADA doors: operators, sensors and opening force checked and adjusted
  • Key control review: master key system records reconciled with the building's cylinders

Each visit ends with a written report: what was checked, what was adjusted on site, and what needs approval. Programs can be quarterly, semi-annual or annual, and can be combined with your annual fire door inspection.

Do you offer preventive maintenance?
