Safe opening and safe lockouts in NYC, 24/7

When a business can't open its safe, the cash, the stock or the records are stuck inside. Bee Locksmith opens commercial safes 24/7 for offices, stores, restaurants, property managers, jewelers and pharmacies: lost or forgotten combinations, dead electronic keypads, failed locks and damaged doors. Our mobile safe technicians come to you, open the safe, repair it and set a new combination.

  • Mechanical dials that turn but the safe won't open

How we open a safe

We try to open a safe without damage first: diagnosing the lock, checking the battery and keypad on electronic locks, and working the lock where that is possible. When a safe has to be drilled, we drill at the right point, open it, repair the hole and replace or repair the lock so the safe keeps its protection.

After the opening

  • The hole repaired and the lock repaired or replaced
  • A new combination set and recorded with the people you name
  • An electronic lock fitted if you want audit or multiple users, such as S&G or LaGard
  • A written note of what was done, for your insurer or head office

Proof of ownership

Before we open a safe we ask for proof that the business or person owns it or has the right to open it. That protects you as much as anyone.

The doorDoor division: service, fabrication and install.
The lockLocksmiths: cylinders, keying and hardware.
The releaseLow voltage: strikes, maglocks, readers and intercoms.
The door, the lock, and the release are one job. We don't hand that off.

Frequently asked questions

Can you open a safe if we lost the combination?

Yes, 24/7. We open the safe, repair it if it had to be drilled, and set a new combination.

Will you have to drill my safe?

Not always. We try to open it without damage first. If drilling is needed, we repair the safe and the lock afterwards.

My electronic safe keypad is dead. Can you help?

Yes. Often it is the battery, the keypad or the wiring. If the lock itself has failed, we open the safe and replace the lock.

Do you open safes for jewelers and pharmacies?

Yes. We work with jewelers, pharmacies, offices, restaurants and retail, and can provide a written record for your insurer.

What do I need to show before you open a safe?

Proof that you own the safe or have the authority to open it, such as ID and business documents.
