Building intercom repair and installation in NYC
Bee Locksmith installs, services and upgrades building intercoms in New York City and the tri-state area. We keep existing analog intercoms running (Lee Dan, Aiphone and other 3-, 4- and 5-wire systems) and install IP video intercoms as an authorized ButterflyMX and Akuvox dealer and installer. We also service Comelit systems. Our own technicians also handle the door release, the lock and the door.
Analog vs. IP: what's in your building
Analog is a type of system, not a brand: a lobby panel wired to apartment stations over 3, 4 or 5 wires for talk, listen and door release. Lee Dan and Aiphone are brands that built many of these systems. IP / video intercoms run over a network or cloud service with video, a directory and phone apps. ButterflyMX, Akuvox and Comelit make them.

Repair now, upgrade when the board is ready
Many buildings aren't ready to replace the whole plant. We repair the analog system you have, and when the board is ready we plan the upgrade and reuse what wiring we can.
Cameras and the building network
IP intercoms run on the building network. We design, install and support the cabling and PoE switching (network infrastructure), and add security cameras at the same entrance.
