Bee Locksmith repairs analog building intercoms in New York City and the tri-state area, including Lee Dan, Aiphone and other 3-, 4- and 5-wire systems. Our own technicians service lobby panels, apartment stations, power supplies, wiring and the door release, so supers and managers can keep the system running until the board is ready to upgrade.

3-, 4- and 5-wire systems
Older buildings run intercoms on a shared wire plant. Faults on one line can affect many apartments. We trace the plant, isolate the fault, and replace stations with compatible units that cover the original wall opening where possible.
Planning the upgrade
When the board is ready, we plan the move to ButterflyMX, Akuvox or Comelit and say what wiring can be reused.
Frequently asked questions
Why can't tenants hear the lobby?
Common causes are a failed amplifier, power supply, wiring fault or station. We test the plant to find it.
Can you replace one apartment station?
Yes, with a compatible station, usually one that covers the old wall opening.
The intercom buzzes but the door won't open. Is that the intercom?
Often it's the strike, power or the door itself. We fix all three.
